Every King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Steelhead, and Brown Trout that runs up the Betsie River to spawn must swim through here, from Lake Michigan, past Frankfort into Betsie Lake, and then on up the river where fisherman await them with rods, nets, flies, stringers, spoons, and waders.
